I'm happy to book sessions in the GTA. If you'd like to book a session outside that area reach out! I will let you know what the travel fee would be and see if I can make an adventure out of it.

What you feel most comfortable in! Clothes without words and logos feel more timeless. Hats are best avoided as they cast shadows on the face. Feel free to leave your little ones in their pj's and get changed when I arrive. I love capturing these every day moments and, bonus, it’s one less things to get done before the session.

I let your family set the pace, but typically begin with gentle prompts and then let the session unfold into natural, playful moments. I want you to genuinely enjoy your time together and feel free to be yourselves.

Planning an activity like baking, bedtime stories, or decorating for the holidays can be a great way to bring the focus back to each other. That being said, it’s my job to guide you through the session and help you feel comfortable. If something isn't working let me know. We can always take a break.

Yes! Backyards, parks, neighbourhood walks are all great ways to capture your family. If you'd like both I'd be happy to do the session in your home and at a second location if time allows.

50% of the fee is due upon signing your contract and the remaining 50% is due the day of the session.

Not much. Most people chose to tidy their home. Don't spend days making it spotless, a home should look lived in and comfy. Your family will be the star of the photos, not your baseboards. If you're cleaning up, prioritize moving laptops, phones, cords and extra boxes.

I love pets, especially dogs! If you'd like to include your furry family member I'd be happy to capture their personality and the role they play in your family.

These things happen, especially when dealing with little ones. Please reach out as soon as you know and we can find a time to reschedule. If you choose to cancel your retainer fee will not be refunded.

Highly likely scenario! Kids have a funny way of reminding us to let go of our expectations. The beauty of having documentary style photography is that it allows me to capture your family as they are. When I arrive, I'll meet everyone and explain to kids what I'm doing. Most kids will either forget I'm there quite quickly or be excited to show me their home, their toys, their siblings and pets, both scenarios make for great photos. I'm a Mom myself and I have been working with kids for a long time. I've got a lot of patience for tiny people.

If you are expecting and already have 1, 2, 3+, little ones at home please book a family shoot. This will allow for adequate time to capture all family members.
